With a compact 0.500 mm / 0.020 inch outside diameter, this cable is suitable for precision tethering, compact fiber deployment systems, underwater communication links, sensing systems, and other demanding environments where a standard fiber cable may be too bulky or fragile.

The cable uses Linden’s proprietary jacket design with LCP primary strength coating, giving it improved mechanical durability while maintaining a very small profile. It is designed to deliver stable singlemode optical transmission at common telecom wavelengths, with attenuation values of less than 0.45 dB/km at 1310 nm and less than 0.35 dB/km at 1550 nm.
